I started my lash journey at age 19, at that stage

I started my lash journey at age 19, at that stage I had worked in retail since I was 15, left school at the beginning of year 12 and felt so lost! I knew I wanted to be something to be proud of I just didn’t know which direction to take. I felt isolated from the group of friends I had at school simply because I thought differently and aspired to do something that was not taught in school. I was made to believe that if I didn’t go to uni I wouldn’t be anything significant in life! Being a stubborn Leo that I am I had to prove them wrong! While I worked my multiple jobs, car loan debit, credit card debt, no saving and living pay check to pay check, I started my side lash business from the study at my parents place, any moment I had spare I would be lashing, working my ass of to perfect my craft. At the age of 22 I met my now husband who really put things into perspective, he showed me that I could lash full time and make an income that I never thought possible and at the same time feel the freedom of being my own boss and working on my terms. All it took was that guidance to escalate my lash career, alongside hard work and dedication I eventually took the leap and became my own boss... it was the best thing I ever did! I remember crying whenever I went for a job interview because I didn’t get the role but looking back now it was such a blessing, it was the let down I needed to really push my self to create something for me where I relied on myself, where I had complete control and I could do whatever I wanted, be whatever I wanted to be without any restrictions of being an employee. Basically what I’m saying is you don’t need to be the smartest student in class, you don’t need to have all the answers now to get things going, you don’t need all the money in the world to start a business, you simply need the hunger, determination, focus and guidance to make it happen... and I believe that’s what I am for my students, I guide and push my students to be the best version of themselves to achieve their goals... continue post into comments....⬇️

A big mistake I see business owners make is they are constantly offering discounts/special offers or just have their prices way too low to begin with! This does not mean you will have a full clientele or be fully booked, you will be aiming your services to price sensitive clients who will only book in with you when you have your discounted rates! Not because they value your work and what you offer!_______________________________________________
To build a strong clientele you need to have loyal and regular clients that are happy to pay for your quality and services and not leave when they find someone cheaper! Having a lower price means you will need to see more clients therefore allowing your business to run you which can lead to over working and resentment of your business!
